Ronnie FloydChristmas is an amazing time of year. It’s one of the few remaining holidays when almost everyone’s attention is drawn to Jesus. People who rarely think about God or the things of God hear about wise men, shepherd, angels, and “the baby Jesus.”

Those of us who know Christ and are familiar with the gospel are reminded of the incarnation, the humbling of Christ to become human, and His birth to the virgin Mary. We are reminded that the humble birth of the king of the universe was a road leading to death and resurrection.

    Powerful! You are so right. Walking with Jesus is not always easy with many ups and downs, but intimacy with Him is like no other. He may lead us down difficult paths, but He will never leave us and will strengthen us along the way… to fulfill His purposes. God bless you!!

    we cannot separate the Infant Jesus from the Risen Christ . . . Our Lord ‘took the form of’ a humble infant, and assumed a complete human nature but He also was fully God in the Second Person in the flesh . . . the lamb of God and the lion of Judah are the same Person to Whom we kneel in allegiance as Christian people
